SCGA CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
41st SCGA MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP:

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 54 holes; stroke play.
- 84 players, comprised of exempt players and qualifiers, will compete in the championship.
Monday, April 8: Rounds 1 (18 holes)
Tuesday, April 9: Round 2 (18 holes)
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 30 scores (and ties)
Wednesday, April 10: Round 3 (18 holes)
All non-exempt players will participate in an 18-hole, stroke-play qualifying round.
QUALIFYING ROUNDS (18 Holes):
Thursday, March 7: Goose Creek GC, Jurupa Valley
Tuesday, March 12: Brookside GC (Course #1), Pasadena
Wednesday, March 13: El Dorado Park, Long Beach
Monday, March 18: Shadowridge GC, Vista
Friday, March 22: Soule Park GC, Ojai
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 5.4 or less at the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 25th birthday by April 8, 2024.
EXEMPTIONS: All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship before the entry closing date. The current list of exemptions can be found online by clicking here.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 10, 2024
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, February 25, 2024
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org after entries close.
EXEMPT PLAYER ENTRY FEE: $225
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
